Swansea home sale prices span $387,688 to $1.4 million in August
Twenty properties changed hands in Swansea between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, though only nine deeds disclosed a sale price. Those nine ranged from $387,688 to $1,425,000, with a median of $635,000. The period's top sale was 215 Sears Road, which sold for $1,425,000 on Aug. 28 from Kilpatrick LLC to Demetri Brothers MA LLC. Bark Street, Calef Avenue and Wood Street each recorded two sales. Nine of the 20 transfers moved property within the same family or into a trust rather than to an outside buyer. With more than half of recorded sales lacking price data, the disclosed figures offer only a partial picture of the period's market activity.
