Swansea home sales range from $311,000 to $860,000 in latest deed filings
Swansea recorded 18 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only five listed a disclosed sale price, ranging from $311,000 to $860,000 with a median of $589,000. The month's top disclosed sale was 15 James Birch Lane, Lot CC 18, which sold for $860,000 on Aug. 11 to Manuel D. and Stephanie Dasilva. At least eight of the 18 transfers appear to be trust-related transfers rather than open-market sales, and several others involve transfers between family members. With 13 of 18 deeds carrying no disclosed price, this period's data offers only a partial view of Swansea's housing values.
