Swansea home sales stay steady in August, but most deeds carry no price tag

Swansea recorded 15 property transfers in the four weeks ending Aug. 29, but only four disclosed a sale price. Those ranged from $300,000 to $589,000, with a median of $335,500. The month's top disclosed sale was 175 Old Fall River Road at $589,000, sold by Allen J. and Debora Maria Rodrigues Florentine to Kylynn Ann and Timothy Joseph Barbero. Nine of the 15 recorded deeds moved property into trusts or between family members sharing a surname, none with a disclosed price, meaning the bulk of this period's recorded activity was not open-market sales.
