Swansea Library Hosts Author Visit and Launches Summer Reading This Week

The Swansea Free Public Library has a pair of back-to-back events lined up this week, giving residents and families two quick reasons to stop by 69 Main Street before the month is out.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The library's calendar heats up starting Thursday evening, when author Steven Manchester visits for a presentation beginning at 6 p.m. on June 25. The event is free and open to the public at the library.

Following close behind is the Summer Reading Kick-Off, featuring Mr. Vinny the Bubble Guy along with watermelon games — a family-friendly launch to the library's summer reading season. Specific date and time details for that event are listed on the library's online calendar at swansealibrary.org.
