Gar Highway property tops list as Swansea records 19 deed transfers
Swansea recorded 19 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, with 12 sales carrying a price so far ranging from $387,688 to $1,575,000 and a median of $652,450. The top sale was 718 Gar Highway at $1,575,000, followed by 215 Sears Road at $1,425,000. Seven filings, including three on Wood Street, show no price yet, and six of those appear to be family trust or life-estate transfers rather than open-market sales. Recordings were spread across nearly every business day, pointing to steady rather than clustered activity, and sales spanned single-family homes, condominium units and LLC-to-LLC transactions.
